People piss me off saying they stole this. First off, if you had a song that was as popular as this song was and stole the sample, there's no way possible you could get away with that. Second, the original artists are PAID royalties as well as the artist who samples the melody. People need to get a clue. LOTS of artists sample songs. Lupe Fiasco "Paris Tokyo"= "San Juan Sunset" by Deodato. Jason Derulo "Whatcha Say" = Imogen Heap "Hide and Seek." Iyaz "Solo" = Janet Jackson "Again." etc.
