a quick notes;;, 5mm REQUIRES you drill the reflector a 3mm not as mutch. you can make a wide angle led out of a self focused 1 by sanding the top flat & polishing it. most leds have a coller you have to clip or sand off. 2 AA cells can light any led accept white or blue, for that you put in 3N cells and a 20 ohm resistor
