I am from the big city, so I often attend three self church, so called government church in western media, if you think they preach the messages from government, they you are totally wrong. House churches are widely existed in the rural area, the happy thing is, there has a missionary group from US is helping them to build churches for them with the help, fund of the government. Christianity, is intrinsically good. It takes a really bad interpretation, or a "bad person" to make it into a tool of war rather than peace. Don't blame Christianity, because, unlike most others, it is capable of turning a "bad person" into a "good person". Other ideologies seldom do.

Precisely, the Abrahamic cult-of-death is the most primitive of all ideologies practised today. Their crimes in the course of history is well documented, so too are the quasi-religious dogma of modern ideologies. Ever since Constantine, the scourge of Christianity/Islam will linger on in infamy in the minds of many who have suffered and perished. In reality, the Abrahamic ideology has provided nothing worthwhile at all to humanity by way of human wisdom.

Your assertion of Christianity's moral high ground is a joke. Christian missionaries turning a blind eye to the atrocities of their colonial masters, the profound complicity of the christian church in the Nazi's persecution of the Jews are classic examples, to name a few. Let alone the period of 'Dark Ages' in European history and its aftermath, the Crusade, Inquisition etc. If Leviticus and Deuteronomy is the best Christians can aspire to for their source of morality, it's indeed tragic.

Christian missionaries helped put an end to many of savage things (yes, some were pretty savage) happening at colonies. What individuals did CONTRARY to what they were taught is theirs to answer. Catholic Church was the only one standing against Nazi hateful ideology. Burning of witches was executed by local authorities, Church didn't kill. Best Christians (or any other people) can aspire to is Jesus' example and teaching. Tell me what's more perfect

The days of Christianity are counted. In fact, the days of any religion are counted. As sciences moves forward explaining what once was a miracle or simply a misunderstood phenomenon, irrational beliefs will go away. Wars and hatred will not go away because they are part of human nature, but those based on religion will.
Religion leaves us, however, with some ethical values. The ones we accept today, of course, because some of them like slavery are not part of modern civilized societies.

I went to the graduation ceremony of a PUBLIC college, namely SUNY. Only a Catholic priest was assigned to publicly pray to Ghod over a Christian Bible. This was a ceremony paid by public tax in a public school. There were Indians, atheists, Buddhists sitting there. There is neither tolerance nor accommodation for different religions. The US majority favors Christianity and forces this religion onto everyone. There is no seperation of church and state. There is only "One Nation under Ghod".

Getting your arguments from a book written thousands of years ago and edited by many people in meantime isn't exactly the best example of rational thinking, but you base your ideas on faith, faith of the invisible, not rational thinking. Rational thinking questions your ideas and beliefs, that's why people like you hate science and anything else that could shake your little world. And China is willing to kill all in order to save their traditions from "an alien religion" which in fact is much less alien than the secular religion that they officially practice.
If China is so keen on impressing the world with its greatness, it could prove it by ensuring the human right to worship as the individual sees fit, and not by displaying the fear that it's 5000 years of tradition cannot handle a non-Chinese religion.
