Remember, Andean music and culture has no borders. At the time of the Incas and before them, there was not such thing as Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia. Such nations came about after the Spanish conquest.

Chichiri are you from Peru? The Inca took many different cultures and there land. So it's not just one people but many that make up the Andes. We are all different in many ways don't try to make us all the same we ARE NOT. Great, but not the same and we must also appreciate our difference.

What I am trying to say is that before the Incas, there was not such thing as these countries that exist today. For example, Bolivia..it was named after Simon Bolivar right? Well, if it wasnt for this guy, the name Bolivia would probably not exist.
