I already have a Zoom H2 audio recorder, so I'm gonna buy a super cheap lavalier mic off eBay for £1.79 and see how good/bad the quality of its sound is.
@boobutt234 See this is one of the reasons why there is such a cult following for Apple products. People always make it seem like the products are doing something unique. Essentially, all you need is a phone with recording software...not an iPhone(that is just one option). So an android phone for example. Actually depending on the sound quality you need, you can use ANY portable device which can record sound. MP3 players, voice recorders for taking notes...
