@Ragtime44Films There's a simple technique to it, go google it. First things first you need to be able to reach more than an octave apart. Thumb is pointed inwards so you gliss on your thumb nail, last finger drags down in keys.

@Franciscanplaypiano I do not agree. Everyone can reach a third or a fourth, and it's not hard to glissando that. I have not to much problem doing the octave glissando, and i feel there's little difference from the third and the foruth =)

Yeah, I always knew the technique, but it's hard when you can only reach one more note than an octave. I just need to get a larger reach.

I can kind of do octave glissandos now.
Not really... but kind of. But it doesn't matter very much since they're very rare.
