Actually, I believe this is by "The Slip", a project that Edie, Kenny Withrow, John Bush and Zac Baird put together in the mid 90's. Definitely NOT New Bohemians as such.
But it is most certainly Edie Brickell on vocals.
i just randomly stumbled upon this song as youtube recommended it to me...this is great! a sort of country-esque norah jones vibe with a smear of blues. nice!
