@SavannahHeartsBVB The easiest way to do that trick is to spin as fast as you can the first time you are learning to pull it up. It makes you and the hoop spin at the same speed making it easier to pull it up. Lay the back of your hand, palm side OUT, on your lower back. Open your hand and when the hoop goes over it practice closing your hand. When you are ready, start spinning, close your hand and grab it and try lifting it up.

@TwistXandXHoop The easiest way if you don't have management or connections? One night, just show up. There's a chance they will like you and ask you to come back.

You could always advertise on craigslist. That's how I get some my cabaret gigs.
