I never know why WIN News Hobart on the weekends leave the AFL stories until after the last ad break. They can't be waiting for Nine to send them down the line, could they???

They'd have to be lol. I'm guessing it was a bad day at the office for WIN's news department here in Tassie.

Either the AFL feeds weren't sent in time, or it somehow wasn't cut into the news as it should have.

Even the cameraman couldn't zoom back fast enough before Brent threw back to John at that point, so it would have been horror for them too even if the AFL feeds were cut into the bulletin lol.

Yes, ever since they finally got the national revamp last month, the Hobart newsroom have been having a few on-air teething problems. The best example was one Sunday when they started the local intro with Penny Tame VOing, but had to throw to Jo Hall at Nine News Melbourne for the whole 30 minutes!

Anyway, I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure they leave the AFL stories last every weekend? Just wondering out-loud why they do that... :/

Yes, Nine are very late cutting so we have no choice. alot of the time the ad breaks are extended to cover when they are to late to air
