Great video - thanks. Captures the amazing atmosphere that night. I've heard this song many times live but this was the best since 1985. Magic was in the air that night in more ways than one! As a long time fan, I know I'm biased but I can't imagine how anyway could have surpassed Bruce and the E Sreet Band's performance that night - I feel very lucky to have been there.
I happened to see Bruce a couple of weeks later at the millenium stadium and Thundere rd was awsome as was the whole show.I came out of the gig absolutely speechless and `high` as a kite. . . He is with out a doubt the most accomplished performer you are ever likely to see and it was a privilege to be part of it ! My little boy wants to go and see him so i guess another day out is on the agenda !
I had been waiting years to hear him perform this. By far my favourite song ever. Something magical about it. Beautiful moment, thanks for posting this video.
I had a ticket for this and could't go as I couldn't make a flight to Dublin the next morning. :( I was at Manchester on the 28th though and part of the reason for going to Dublin was to propose to my girlfriend(who said yes) so I'm sure Bruce would have approved being the lover he is. The man is a legend.
I was there, and what an hell of an opening. It was even better than the 30th, I was there to. He is the best. Can't wait for my next 4 conserts in Gothenburg and Oslo.
I was there on 31st,it was amazing,my first ever concert it was fantastic The Boss rules, My Fav artist in my Fave footballground what more can you ask for :-)
I was in the pit, right at the front, the whole concert was awesome but when everyone sang along to this is it was just amazing. Had a seat ticket for last night but wished I'd been in the pit again
Thanks for posting this: went on Saturday night and missed out on this but I still have the memories and recording of a cracking version on the Born in the USA tour Independence Day night at Wembley Stadium in @85..
