Fabulous peformance, one of the best I've seen them do. WARNING: GEEK COMMENT: It'll be interesting for us musos to see how they run the bassline for this & Sleepwalk on the April 2009 tour. As this clip shows, Chris used the low frequency oscillator on his Minimoog to trigger the notes, so all he had to do was play each change of pitch. That's why he has to set it going at the start of the song, so Warren can get the tempo.Modern synths are not really set up for this so easily.

There are two ways.

1/ Uktravox used a lot of 'soft synths' run via controller keyboards & MACbook laptops (!) on the 2009 tour. It may well be that the soft synth minimoog offers this function. if not...

2/ Over the years when Ive wanted to do this on a 1990's synth, ive used a sequencer, slowed it doen, put each basebeat in manually, then speed it up to play!
