Being that I LOVE Journey and can be critical (VERY), I think you did very well and enjoyed it. To me it looked liked you enjoyed singing the song and had fun. You have allot of power, just watch where you use it. A little to much sustaine here and there but still very enjoyable to hear and watch.

Yes, the NWOBHM always springs to mind when I think of the 80s, as well as AOR/hair metal etc.. If I did have a time machine though, I'd be more likely to visit the late 60s-early 70s, since most of my music collection is from around that time. Nah, I've never liked Soundgarden. Not my bag.

Guess it's not important, just sing and sound good, and maybe mix it up with some other stuff. Chris Cornell is simply amazing from Soundgarden. Search under "Back Hole Sun Yahoo" and play the acoustic version - that guy really can pour it out.
