I LOVE THIS! I am a Canadian teaching in South Korea and soon heading to South Africa for a month of volunteering. To get back to my home, St. John's, NL, Canada, I fly from Capetown to dubai on an Emirates Airbus A340-500 and then Dubai to London on a Boeing 777-300 (this guy). I can't WAIT! I love planes so I think I'm more excited about the flight than seeing Africa!

Emirates have 10 across seating in economy whereas BA only have 9 so there is much more room on BA.

@karan9613 The thing is that the traditional seating for boeing 777 aircraft are 3-3-3 (across) and many airlines give up a little comfort for revenue and add an extra seat, like emirates (3-4-3) its really not that bad since their entertainment system is one of the worlds best. If your flying economy, say Houton-Dubai in economy, well thats a long flight so check with qatar airlines via doha, their firist class is nothing compared to business (neither business) but there economy is better.

I am sorry for the delayed reply - i never tried it out; I think though it would work on seeveral systems..and it is always a good idea to take a little adapter along when travelling:) Have a good flight! Did you check my other Y class video on the 777 ER? Have a look at the adapter there.

It very much depends on the ticket and where you booked it. If it is a cheap ticket and you booked it through Emirates, I am sure you can change it - but might have to pay a fee (i recently payed 100 €). Just call and ask them.

Leg room was good, as they removed the video box under front seat: yet, they also removed foot rest (which i never use). Personally, I would recommend one of the last (not very last and not the first one) rows with 2 seats only ..thasts where i was.

Well, this is a 777-300 ER and the plane was 11 days old. I dont think all 777-300 are like this, yet..although the inflight entertainment is almost identical. You can check on the EK website by flight number and date which equipment you may expect! And check my other Economy vid for an older version

is it true seat 48A/B/J/K have limited recline or even worst cannot be reclined at all? i've already picked seat 48A/B for my incoming flight (as i'll flying with my partner) and the eticket says they gonna use the new 773ER. so any advice? btw nice video! thanks.

I normally do not recline very much, but I thought it had a normal recline; there was one seat behind, though, whose recline might have been limited (49) - so i would not worry about 48..i loved it!

the seats on emirates are so uncomfortable- they've removed the headrests so ur legs just dangle becuase the seats are so high, and they have 10 abreast seating rather than the 9 most airlines have.

If anything, they removed the foot rests..heads still may rest:) And i am not that tall, but my feet did not dangle at all
