The Craig's List suggestion has it's drawbacks, especially in smaller towns. Most women won't trust you, and you'll get a lot of fake responses no matter where you live. Biggest thing to remember is watch for scammers! Don't let someone tell you to go to an "age verification" site or anything that wants your credit card number. You'll end up with a paid account for a dating site you don't want before you know what happened in spite of what the page says about not taking any money!
