@MRtetri5 it's actually the original. You've got the European (PAL) version of the game, which had slower everything, including slower music. sonicKAI actually has most of the music in PAL tempo as well, so if you ever want to listen to that, feel free to check it out.

I enjoyed parts of Sonic '06, I'll admit, but that's in spite of the fact that it was a horribly made game. Glitchy, ugly, awful story, overly cheap (even by Sonic standards) in spots, etc. Again, I enjoyed parts just because Sonic at it's core is that awesome, but '06 really was a mailed-in, rushed turd of a game.

@paperchaos THIS THIS THIS! actually the Game Gear is SLIGHTLY better....I remember playing the Megadrive version after playing the 8 bit versions.....and I was disapointed by the Boss tune, Green Hill, Scrap Brain, and even the Labryinth Zones. The 8-bit versions sound so much better!! Ok, Green Hill is a aclose one, and there's no Starlight (Boo!), but everything else is just better!

And if you swap the Final Zone music with Sky Base 2.........WOW!

@kingmariop476 In terms of Sonic, you're completely just lost faith in the hedgehog. I don't know if you pay attention to any news about Sonic the Hedgehog. Recently they are doing Sonic Generation where you can play as Classic Sonic. I admit that he had some bad times during the 3D era, but there's no reason to just walk away from the hedgehog like that. Not that you are intentionally, but it felt like it for just a second.

The first Sonic game was much better than the first Mario game.

Sonic had more and a lot better music, and more kinds of enemies and a boss who at least had to be beaten each zone in different ways. But ir Mario you just had to jump over Bowser and grab the axe, or spam fireballs.

Anyway, the Sonics in megadrive will remain masterpieces forever.

uh yeah I'm serious. The Adventure games were some of the best of the series and actually built on things that happened in the old games like the Echidna tribe and hints of Shadow and the Biolizard being based off of the murals of Super Sonic from Knuckles and Perfect Chaos from Adventure 1. They had more to do with the older games than any of the ones after them.

-SA1, good game in every aspect, I just think it's not enough "sonic-like" (a good platform game like many others, while sonic genesis was for me an unique concept). Oh and sonic should fucking stop talking >_>.

-SA2, good game (but awful music). What annoys me with this game is the fact it's the first "american sonic", well i admit SA1 was a bit like that too, but with SA2 the feeling is really different.

-Sonic Heroes: don't like this one at all.

The sonic adventure series was amazing, Sonic heroes was awesome, sonic advance and rush series were incredible, I actually kinda enjoyed sonic 06, sonic unleashed was badass to the max, and sonic colors was fantastic! Not to mention Sobic was a pretty cool game even tho it was short. And now that sonic generations is coming out this year Sonic is even more awesome than before! I'm proud to be a sonic fan!
