Ppjjlop, what you do is when finder is selected press "  command + n " on the keyboard and it will make a new window

Cheers - nicely explained. I've noticed tho, sometimes i switch to a different space unintentionally - it seems to be when my cursor is close to the edge of the screen. Do you know how this is done??

@CrazyEskimo1212 If you have a Macbook or Macbook Pro with the MultiTouch Trackpad put all four fingers on it and slide up that will move all the windows away from the screen and drag down to pull all windows back down.
