There should be no dislikes at a all, the only reason there are is because of the fact that those people are jealous of the rest of these folks who get to experience that drive. I took it for granted along with the rest of the Island, it makes me wanna cry when I think about Mililani, Wahiawa, Kaneohe & all those beautiful places :/

If you want something majestic look up the stairway to heaven, it's a staircase that goes up those beautiful suckers to a old radio tower that was used to communicate to the submarines in the far pacific. It's closed to the public and is guarded but you can get there before the guard gets on duty and climb it.

i was just there a couple of days ago and my mom and i had a few encounters going through this highway it is really extravigant and long anyway just dont through it with a biker gang of around 20 choppers that is freaking loud

lol at rainy day the Windward side is rain at least once everyday! Oh yah and just to let you know the people here are very supersticious (however you spell it) so this tunnel is no good in their eyes. Many deaths here and they say the gods are the reason why. Blowing a hole thorugh a sacred mountain doesn't sit well wit tha locals, so I'm assuming taping it isn't good either. But it is a gorgeous drive for sure...

oahu is small, but seems a lot bigger when you drive. it depends on what time you drive-- a drive can take from half an hour to two hours depending on traffic.

@Inverseiki its like ALWAYS cloudy on the koolau mountain. now when he filmed this it was more cloudy because it was kinda rainy but there is ALWAYS clouds on the mountain. even on a cloudless day (which is very very rare, maybe 2-3 day a month) there still are clouds.
