how come people that work for the government can comment felonies and walk all over the american people and us regular citizens have to face many years in prison? It shows that we make the laws but since we made them we don't have to follow them. it sounds kinda one sided. if someone does something wrong they should be charged just like the rest of us
If this is a reflection of the kind of people that the President is hiring, shouldnt that reflect the weakness of our President? Impeach this bastard, and then move up the chain.
Because you have opened this... you will get kissed on the nearest possible Friday by the love of your life... if you don't break the chain. Tomorrow will be the best day of your life. However, if you don't send this to at least 10 people by the stroke of midnight tonight you will be forever cursed in love. Just copy and paste this.. Good Luck!
Exactly savage, thats the problem. They put themselves into this predicamant by carrying it out in the manner that they did. Some of these guys are so confused, and trying to compare the situations.
One last thing, Gonzales under oath perjured himself when he claimed it was performance issues as rationale for the firings. Lying before the senate is a federal crime.
Reagan fired all the attorneys when he went into office, Bush 41 fired all the attorneys when he went into office. Its a presidential ritual.
What really happened here was Pete Domenici threatened a US attorney for not prosecuting more democrats during the 2004 elections, and another legislator asked for information about ongoing grand jury investigations which is a federal crime BTW to obtain.
At the beginning of each admin, every US Attorney turns in their resignation. It happens every time. *These* 8 were fired because they weren't prosecuting Democrats fast enough and for insufficient loyalty to the White House.
Of course no one in the drive-by media is going to admit that Clinton fired 92 of the U.S. Attornies. The Clintons have such a grip on the socialist media in this country that it makes me sick.

it wasnt the fact that they were fired. it was the motivation for the firings that are in question.
