Holy @#$%... this REALLY does sound like the music that you would hear when the world is coming to an end.
I'm not sure why they decided to use the second stage to play this music, but if there ever was ever a "bad future" for the chaos angel zone (I don't know if any of you played Sonic CD or not) then this would be the PERFECT music to use. Imagine the scenary... sky is clouded with thick dust, atmosphere is bloody red, everything basically perished, and Sonic is too late to stop it.
