My mother comes from a highly respectable Muslim family in Herzegovina. My father is 'Serb' and I have what most people consider a 'Croatian' last name.

BTW, just like russerbgreek stated, the only real genocide in Bosnia was the WW2 genocide against the Serb population. You got your Srebrenica-case heard in court, while the real genocide was never dealt with properly in courts. That's probably one of the reasons why the war broke out in the '90:s and the reason why Bosnia as a state was dead the same day it was born. You cannot build a happy multi-ethnic state with such a gruesome legacy from WW2 or by bullying one ethnic group into submission.
Don't forget WW1. There are estimates that up to 100.000 civilians were murdered. It is important and people should not forget the massmurder against mostly serbs in WW1 and WW2, but it is not the fault of the current generations and should not be used as a context for the crimes in the Bosnian war.
It is a duty as moral human to respond to evil with kindness and to forgive the unforgivable or real peace will not be achieved in the next 200 years.

Before the war, Alija Izetbegovic (former Nazi collaborator) came to Belgrade and said that Bosnia will be a Muslim/Christian country but ONLY with a Muslim president and general high command. BTW, just like russerbgreek stated, the only real genocide in Bosnia was the WW2 genocide against the Serb population. You got your Srebrenica-case heard in court, while the real genocide was never dealt with properly in courts. That's probably one of the reasons why the war broke out in the '90:s and the reason why Bosnia as a state was dead the same day it was born. You cannot build a happy multi-ethnic state with such a gruesome legacy from WW2 or by bullying one ethnic group into submission.

Don't forget WW1. There are estimates that up to 100.000 civilians were murdered. It is important and people should not forget the massmurder against mostly serbs in WW1 and WW2, but it is not the fault of the current generations and should not be used as a context for the crimes in the Bosnian war.
It is a duty as moral human to respond to evil with kindness and to forgive the unforgivable or real peace will not be achieved in the next 200 years.

The verdict (which will be appealed) admitted that he had no control over any forces in Bosnia so his "guilt" is a rather strange one. I don't pay attention to the verdicts of those on NATO's payroll. You OTOH have to accept the verdicts in their entirety in order to be consequential and not cherry-pick parts you like.

The verdicts, while claiming that what happened in Srebrenica was "genocide", do not claim that genocide occured anywhere else in Bosnia. Furthermore, Serbia was found neither guilty nor complicit in this event. Usually, such an act would be labeled a massacre, not "genocide", due to the limited population and area affected, especially since women and children were spared.

Bosnia needs to be split in 3 divisions to end all this bullcrap, it would be nice if we could all live together but reality is reality, 99% of people are nationalistic. Serbians get Republica Srpska, Bosnians get where they are majority and Croats get their where they are majority around Herzegovina, and problem solved.

Its all nice and dreams about people wanting Bosnia to become a single country without ethnic divisions. In a perfect world this could happen, but in reality Bosnia needs to be split into a Serb part, Muslim part and Croat part. Everyone should split their own way and there is no bickering left and right, this is a sad way for a country to go but its reality. You can keep dreaming of a unified country but its just too much historical and ethnic nationalism.

Before the war, Alija Izetbegovic (former Nazi collaborator) came to Belgrade and said that Bosnia will be a Muslim/Christian country but ONLY with a Muslim president and general high command. Now, what the hell was that man thinking back then? That Serbs and Croats are going to agree on that? Secondly, Bosnia was never a Muslim country. Even now there are 51% Christians living there. Bosnjaks have a high complex because when the Ottomans left they've lost their power over all the others. Karma!

I AM SO ASHAMED TO BE LIVING IN THE SAME ADMINISTRATION WITH THESE PEOPLE!!! (though, truth to be told - so called Bosnia and Herzegovina was imposed by the NATO bombs...but still, I feel so ashamed )
