@aannaanndd The Japanese tv programme only showed rice being 'inputted' into this machine. That doesnt mean though that rice is the only thing that it can handle. I cant find this device to buy here in London!

I'll have a look on the internet for ya. But I have a feeling these particular machines are patented by their Japanese designers. .However, there may be European or American counterparts somewhere. .

@yastunt I'm pretty sure these aren't patented there are many Chinese street vendors who sell puffed rice and popcorn from machines like this only they are hand cranked and heated with coal furnaces

also Quaker Oats used to advertise their puffed rice and wheat cereals as being shot from guns try this video watch?v=zGpS6LHeBC0 it's of an old quaker oats commercial

and look up puffed rice shot from guns or popcorn the Chinese way
