@jmugm That is pretty logical. I rarely hear "songs" and think, "damn, what a tune!", but then there is a time and place for everything. Vocals and lyrics have no place over this music, it's already beautiful and lyrical as it is, and IMO to far greater effect than most songs with someone wailing sad words over a minor chord.

I dunno why or how but Earth is a thinking band!

The ones who get bored with it are the ones who have been brought up on 3 min pop solo perfections!! Which is grand but your attention span is that short that you never actually get INTO the song!

With Earth it allows you to think and not necessarily rock out but chill out and ponder things imaginable! Its the only type pf music that I find my muscles relaxing to other than sigur ros or explosions in the sky!

I cannot get into metal that has brruuuutal vocals, personally I think the music is wasted in the background to a guy trying to puke his ring up!!!

Metal communities are very unforgiving I find, its one way and one way only!! Its nice to be able to get inside a song, let your mind weave a story to its rhythm..
