  • i remember watching this awhile back, and thinking, holy **** that's cool. ever since then robotics and electronics in general have been a huge passion of mine. So much so that i'll start working towards my degree in computer engineering in the fall.

    So all in all, just wanted to say great work, and thanks for fueling this passion of mine which will carry on for the rest of my life.

    That is a very cool remote control device. I especially like the maximum range of motion with the minimal amount of servos.

    However, this is not related to your design but the lable of "robot" in general used by this sort of hobbyist: technically this is merely a remote control device. A robot is autonomous and interacts with its environment without input from a human.

    The label of robot for this sort of thing has always irked me.
