This program was VERY problematic on my new gaming laptop running Windows 7. I highly recommend you stick with (maybe dual boot?) Ubuntu or Linux Mint if you are looking for these kinds of desktop effects. They both handle compiz fusion without a glitch. Let your Windows do what it can for now...
