the fermata bitwin the intro and first theme is horrible... theres no sense to put that in that place... the allegro starts so slow and get speed, and when the theme gets back start slow and carry on slow...

betwin the intro and the begning of the theme theres a pause... this pause is so import... more than conduct "imagine music"

I hardly believe the conductor was so unclear that the concertmaster had to make all of that commotion. Someone needs to let that man know it's not his job to cue every note his section plays.

perhaps it was expresiveness...if it was not, then i 100% agree with you. i had the score for this sitting right in front of me while listening to this and i believe that the conductor did just a fine job with showing cues...
