actually, i've never heard of a bimota with a kaw motor. the jap motored ones used yamaha and suzuki (yb11-yamaha, sb8-suzuki). the rest used ducati motors as far as i know. and the japanese motors were pretty wicked either way.
Dude, if you buy modern, then they are all reliable, the ones i would question would be bimoto, because although i love some of the bikes they make they are still small and you don't hear enough about them, MV Augusta i think should be good but again a small company, but BMW, you'd think good... but they recall alot of they're bikes for unforseen reasons, but if you buy a good model bmw it'll last forever. ducati and aprilia are good enough.
Aprilia's are dirt cheap second hand, because no one wants a bike that is unreliable thats why u go kawasaki.suzuki or yamaha, oh and honda if you like to be safe!

My GOODNESS! Did you hear that thing at speed? That is some SWEET engine music from a sexy bike like the Ducati Desmosedici (too bad I can't pronounce "Desmosedici"). They make some lovely motorcycles, and this one is no exception. Only downside? Its $75K price tag. So for about the price of a Nissan GT-R, you can get this bike. Very much worth every penny if you're a Ducati fan.

Ducati has always made terrific bikes, but I love this one for the 90-degree V-4...never cared much for Twins.

actually, i've never heard of a bimota with a kaw motor. the jap motored ones used yamaha and suzuki (yb11-yamaha, sb8-suzuki). the rest used ducati motors as far as i know. and the japanese motors were pretty wicked either way.

Dude, if you buy modern, then they are all reliable, the ones i would question would be bimoto, because although i love some of the bikes they make they are still small and you don't hear enough about them, MV Augusta i think should be good but again a small company, but BMW, you'd think good... but they recall alot of they're bikes for unforseen reasons, but if you buy a good model bmw it'll last forever. ducati and aprilia are good enough.

I think these bikes look great, but for the price of one and the cost of maintenance, and for parts and repairs if something breaks, ill stick to my Jap bikes that with a few mods are right up there with these and still save alot of money and i can fix everything myself cheap also!

You are missing the point. The bike is an art form and not just a motorcycle. Just like very few will own a real Van Gogh, many will own a 'print' (aka, the Jap bike of which you speak). Just about any decent sport bike will give you a thrill but none are the real Van Gogh !!

My GOODNESS! Did you hear that thing at speed? That is some SWEET engine music from a sexy bike like the Ducati Desmosedici (too bad I can't pronounce "Desmosedici"). They make some lovely motorcycles, and this one is no exception. Only downside? Its $75K price tag. So for about the price of a Nissan GT-R, you can get this bike. Very much worth every penny if you're a Ducati fan.
