such a great artist they certainly don't come like this anymore. i really like how she able to change her vocals in the cord of the song of her voice when she said in the song "let me down the easy way" such great passion and soul from such a voice...
I saw Brenda Lee in person last year. She still belts it out. She is very kind. She had two concerts that day but stayed 2 hours after her first concert to sign fan memorabilia.
Your record sounds GREAT on the RCA record player!
The RCA orthophonic record players are wonderful machines, they sound much larger than their size, and changing records is both fast and smooth. There are other units just as smooth, but none faster... and few as good sounding.
Nothing better when in despair than to lie at full length with the volume up and my head nearly inside the speakers, and belt along with Brenda, one of the all-time great belters.
I am a purist, and it's quite rare that i enjoy remakes of classic masterpieces such as this, but I must say that Juice Newton did this song a lot of justice, with just a touch more of a bluesy, torch-song feel. Great stuff!
I hate to tell you what camera I am using. It's one of those hand held "flip" phones. I paid like a $100 for it. It is so small that it is hard to keep it still on some of the longer songs. Brenda is a classic!
I am sorry-I did not mean a flip phone. There is a company that makes small video recorders=hand held sizes=I believe they call it "Flip Video"-they make several start about $150 go up to $250-Keep rocking!
I was driving home this evening and this song popped up in my head. From my mom's memories. Great song, truly

The RCA Victor heading is for the 1957 RCA Orthophonic stereo-but we can agree Brenda Lee is the real deal!

Sounds too good to be a flip phone.

That Orthophonic sound really great! I gotta to put up some Brenda Lee too. Whatever camera you're using, it's picking up the sound really great!
