I'm kind a disappointed that you left out the totalitarian part of hunger games.. Because that's just a important thing about the whole book.. And its worth mentioning.. But since you like hunger games.. I would recommend that you read 1984! One of my favorites! Ore in fact it is my favorite! And you should look up on "The Brothers Karamazov." Great book! And if you like 1984, I would recommend The process by Franz Kafka.. And of all this fall in taste.. Talk to me later. I got more!
Jellicoe Road byMelina Marchetta!I usually hate reading but i read this book and OMG! it's soo good and has a little romance in it.lol.But its about a group of 17 year olds and a girl who's mom left her when she was little.She was picked up by her dorm leader who basically raises her and is her only family.Her school is split up into groups and they have a huge territory war.There's so much mystery in it and is the deepest book i have ever read,but it also has it's happy parts.It's soo good! Of course the first three Harry Potter books will seem boring, because they are children books. But that was beauty of Harry Potter, the characters and the readers growing up together in sync. Shame you missed it.

It's an awsomr book about a girl in high school who dies and keeps reliving the same day over and over and keeps trying to change whats going on so it will stop. U should read Maximum Ride, it's like The Hunger Games. It's a fast paced no holdsbar explosion. Right out of the gate there's action, it mixes in romance, teenage craziness, and much more and doesnt stop until the last page. Even then, it's only a brief pause.

I just got done reading a book, and it's become my fave! It's about a 15 yr old girl who has an after school job working at a nursing home and is asked to help her favorite patient die secretly, falls in love with her best friend, and lives with her mom and sister after her dad walks out on them. She's looking for answers to help her through life :) It's called "God Is In the Pancakes" by Robin Epstein and it changed my outlook on life completely! Couldn't put it down!

How about the Hush, Hush series by Becca Fitzpatrick. There's been a lot of mixed reviews on this book. But I absolutely LOVED it. It's my #1 favorite series, and that's saying something b/c I've read a CRAPload of books, haha :P
A book I think you'd like, or at least is one of my favorites is, 'What's eating Gilbert Grape', by Peter Hedges. Yes, the novel the movie was made from, starring Johnny Depp & Leonardo Dicaprio. The book is better and the ending way different than the movie and shows how Gilbert attains some personal grouth in dealing with the problems in his life. Another series, you may enjoy is the 'Fallen' series by Lauren Kate.
The Percy Jackson series and the begging of Heroes of Olympus series THERE AWESOME. I'm a Greek mythology freak so i loved them so much. You should try reading them. Also Anita Blake if your for into Vampires and were-animals but that series is like way for mature i read them but i skip most of the romance parts.

If you like vampires, then you should read house of night - it's not based on the typical, stereotypical kind of vampires. It's sort of a mix of Harry potter and twilight! They're great!

City of Bones by Cassandra Clare is actually AMAZING! I loved every minute of it. Ummm Thirst was a very good series too. I own 120 some books, so it's hard to think of some, but for now that's all I can think of!

I just got done reading a book, and it's become my fave! It's about a 15 yr old girl who has an after school job working at a nursing home and is asked to help her favorite patient die secretly, falls in love with her best friend, and lives with her mom and sister after her dad walks out on them. She's looking for answers to help her through life :) It's called "God Is In the Pancakes" by Robin Epstein and it changed my outlook on life completely! Couldn't put it down!

I LUV THE HUNGER GAMES!!!!! its my third fave series my first is the percy jackson series and the second is the heroes of olympus series!!!! such good books!!!!!!!!!!! and then i also really liked the giver, i am number four, distant waves, and the museum of thieves. there r soooooooooooo many more i could recomend to anyone who is interested

How about the Hush, Hush series by Becca Fitzpatrick. There's been a lot of mixed reviews on this book. But I absolutely LOVED it. It's my #1 favorite series, and that's saying something b/c I've read a CRAPload of books, haha :P

A book I think you'd like, or at least is one of my favorites is, 'What's eating Gilbert Grape', by Peter Hedges. Yes, the novel the movie was made from, starring Johnny Depp & Leonardo Dicaprio. The book is better and the ending way different than the movie and shows how Gilbert attains some personal grouth in dealing with the problems in his life. Another series, you may enjoy is the 'Fallen' series by Lauren Kate.

The Percy Jackson series and the begging of Heroes of Olympus series THERE AWESOME. I'm a Greek mythology freak so i loved them so much. You should try reading them. Also Anita Blake if your for into Vampires and were-animals but that series is like way for mature i read them but i skip most of the romance parts.

House Rules is about murder, mystery, a boy with Aspergers (form of Autism), and how his family struggles.
The Book Thief is about the life of a girl in Nazi German. It's narrated by Death himself.
Dark Visions is more of a teenager, sci-fi, romance book.
Fahrenheit 451 is a classic. It's a sci-fi book.

The hunger games is the most amazing book series EVER!!! It has adventure, and romance all in one book!!! They have such a crazy storyline and covers sooo many things all in one trilogy! Such compelling books, everyone HAS to read them!
If you like vampires, then you should read house of night - it's not based on the typical, stereotypical kind of vampires. It's sort of a mix of Harry potter and twilight! They're great!

City of Bones by Cassandra Clare is actually AMAZING! I loved every minute of it. Ummm Thirst was a very good series too. I own 120 some books, so it's hard to think of some, but for now that's all I can think of!
