So happy about this. id given up all hope. I wanna see more turbo Xs and Now lets get that new 95 in the showrooms! And then follow with the other new models the 91X, the 94X. And with spyker being the buyer we may see another sonnet. I would really like saab to bring back the 900 name and make a really cool modern interpretation of the classic 900. that is the Iconic saab, and enter WRC with it and win ofcourse!
This may be an unprecedented acquisition. As a Saab loyalist, I'm hoping for the best for the new corporation. The Saab 900/9-3 ragtop has almost always been a strong seller for the brand.
Well I dont know If spyker Is the best choice for Saab, But its a good start! this would not have happened if GM didnt blend Saab in with all the other cars on the road that is why people bought saab's because they were different then Gm had saabs flagship car on a chevy impala frame:( thank god saab is out of there hands.
This might work out Saab and Spyker are both formerly aircraft manufactures so the soul is their.
Then again nither company has really made a car that has struck a chord with the market. But things could change. So we shall see. Just look at what Ka Motors did with Jaguar... they brought the style back.
Rumours are that GM has used some creative accounting to cause Saab appear lossmaking, in order to avoid swedish high taxation. Apparently most of the money from Saab sales in US never made it back to Sweden, for example.
if you guys don't figure out a way to reduce that fucking turbo lag of yours, you will go down like gm. seriously, GM sux in every way. GO SPYKER !!!
