It's funny to see quite a big arm coming from behind the last kid playing the Red Violin at the monastery. The left hand is a lot bigger compared with his right hand, and you can see him wearing some sort of skin color glove. Perhaps, it is Joshua Bell's arm coming from behind, as we know he made several cameos appearances (as the concertmaster assistant, F. Pope solo with the orchestra, etc.) and recorded the complete violin solos for the movie.
damn... nawadays instruments dont last more than 5 years in any type of music institution, the instruments where i study (universidad de guadalajara) are the most pathetic excuse of sound emiting objects ive ever seen :C
Hello! this truly is a lovely movie (despite the fact that there are some scenes that aren't for children) might I ask, what is the title of the piece or concerto they are playing?
what is the name of this piece?

They don't because films like this do not draw hordes of teenagers into the theatre on the opening weekend

@bachkirche I think part of the problem is they don't know how to market a movie like this unless it starts to garner serious oscar attention.

Can someone with knowledge in classical music please tell me what is the name of the song the boys are playing???
DavidDukeSupporter1 1 year ago
@DavidDukeSupporter1 It is apart of the original scoring for the film, as classic as it sounds it was written in modern times by Corigliano

Sounds more like Vivaldi because there are very few incidentals
