i think these guys realize their fan base includes some pot heads, so its open to interpretation. I always see the song as basically implying that being more social and outgoing is important, but the approach from the video i think is them exaggerating the imagery of what you going out would look like. the video could be the 4 of them driving to 7-11 in a jeep to get big gulps and it would make more sense, but whats the fun in that? their videos are all undoubtably unique, im all for it.

finally saw them in concert!! ever since i was like 8 i wanted to see them,ten years later my wish came true and it was honestly the best day of my life! :) front row, high fived Nick and got P-Nut's bass string.

dude sublime and 311 started around the same time in 1989, i love sublime to but back in 1995 it was un heard of to have turntables and rock and raggae all togather in one like 311 did

@ComeOriginal123 The weird thing is that i really liked the youtube videos by this band, so i bought the album don't tread on me, but it was TERRIBLE. Is that just an especially bad album, or do i just not really like this band?

@doc7114 i thought dont tread on me was a great album, its also made in 05 so its not there older great shit from the 90s like dont stay home, but i guess if u dont like it thats your opinoin, i love all of 311 in my opinoin its one of the best multi genre compared to the hinder, shinedown, and nickelback kind of bands, im glad you like some of 311s stuff tho.
