  • dw 3002 great feel.

  • i have double bass sp pedal and they are bad!!! you have to put to much effort into them to to double bass, spending the extra money for cobras is worth it

  • Dude hahahaha u were trying to do one

  • YOU SUCKKKKKKK

  • @cwmjag19 hellz yeah i do

  • 0:32 metallica "one"?

  • im totlay getting those soon i read good reports on them

  • don't you think that dw 2002 is a better double pedal for this category price?

    Thanks

  • they suck cuz u suck

  • Okay so, i can go rlly fast but it sounds rlly sloppy, but i just cant seem to go live average or slow speed, any tips?

  • @IMITEBITE ooohhh i got a tip SLOW DOWN when you practice slowly and practice making sure that every stroke is even eventually you can step up and go say 10 bpm faster or 5 faster here's a relatively comfortable 16th note bpm start at 100 and practice singles at that speed with an extremely simple 4:4 it's gonna be boring as hell but that is where everyone started including some of the fastest drummers out there do your self a favor and SLOW DOWN

  • Ya there good trusty

  • 0:32 was that an attempt to do One? Try learning actual double bass beats rather than throwing in doubles on normal single pedal beats, ya know what i mean?

  • 0:32 was that an attempt to do One?

  • hey dude...i have the EXACT same set as yours only mine is wine red. did you get new hi-hats/crash cymbals? mine sound horrible and they are aquarians (i think that is how it is spelled lol) and they are HORRIBLE!!! good think i got a 20" ride to back me up when i dont want to listen to them.

  • @icantfindaname5 yeah man i got sabian b8 pack for like 300 they sound pretty good too

  • that kinda sounds like metallica in certain parts of the video

  • 32 is one by metallica

  • eh, still better than lars

  • men but clean n wash your sucks jajaja

  • @ZildjianL4D2 i had the remo weather king and it totally blows so i just use my old head now

  • I don't get it

I could play death, Cannibal Corpse, Pantera, Slayer and other bands through this pedals. But yet ppl say they suck. First u need to practice a lot with them and then u adjust the other stuff.

Remember to always use heel up.

  • @jesse17ful yeah now that iv gotten better and some of my friends have played my pedals and iv played theres i realized they dont suck all that much espically compared to some of theres and iv adjusted them and stuff now so now there pretty good and great price too

  • Question, I'm thinking about getting this pedal. Would I be able to play A Day to Remember or The Devil Wears Prada with it?

  • @mrniceguy9 ya dude. im pretty sure they use high quality pedals though like dw9000 or iron cobra but i dont see why you couldnt

  • @DarviSoto

Yeah, I was just wondering if I could possibly get up to the speed. I'm on kind of a tight budget, haha.

    Thanks!

  • u should put ur seat lower so the double bass sounds better

  • 0:32 to 0:40 is one from metallica

  • i hav to play with my bare feet ... i suck any other way lol, your not too bad a drummer.... you kinda repeat the same thing over and o'er again lol

  • Dude I can smell ur feet from here lol

  • those are Sound Percussion Double Bass Pedal with(89$) or without Drop Clutch(69$)? ty

  • @kkkeiurono yeah but when i got it it was $100 lol and idk if they sell it without drop clutch but i love the drop clutch

  • You are DBPing more out of nerves than control. start slow and increase speed and then slow down. Nothing is more important than time/speed control with DBP. Find a good light pair of shoes...the hard sole will actually increase control and timing efficiency. Also...it is better to buy as good a DBP as you can as you will develop muscle reaction and memory based on your pedal quality(or lack of) and mechanics. A bad DBP is like running backwards...you CAN do it but why would you want to?

  • @YouTees yeah i did this video when i first started cuz i was all excited and shit iv gotten a lot better but thanks for the advice bro

  • @beav2013 oh yeah..hey that is very cool. Actually...it is that you were not afraid to post your efforts that shows you have the confidence to be 'out there' and that makes for getting better faster. it is not a very good mix to be shy and play drums! . I have heard a few people got this pedal and it was dialed in well for them so I guess you never know. Are you still using and liking this pedal?

  • @YouTees yeah im still using them and now that iv gotten better these pedals arent that bad i need to make a vid soon but my drums are at a friends house because thats were we jam and stuff

  • one of metallica good!!

  • i love that pedal, its cheap and a damn good pedal for only 100 bucks. i bought it about a year ago and it came with a hi-hat drop clutch...

  • I had these pedals. They worked, but the slave just had too much lag for me. So I used it as a single. And the left post on the main pedal broke on me when I decided to use them as doubles again. Ended up just getting a single Pearl Eliminator... Guess double bass is not for me.

  • lol man u attach ur socks on youtube hahah xD crazy muthafucka :D

  • I have these petals, they are acctually good pedals, you just have to be able to play double bass, you wont be able to play right out of the box, ive learned that these chepo pedals have acctually helped me in practicing, then when i use my iron cobras it was beyond easy

  • Nice palying i know it does suck that pedal i play 5000 cobras and demons and yamaha

  • pdp was 100 too and there awesome

  • @mycrimsonregrets u think the sound percussion is good for metal?

  • @yoshiskato no! i have them they suck! buy some pearl or tama or even pdp cuz these suck

  • what kick pedal is better for metal?

  • @yoshiskato double bass is best if you can swallow the cost and obviously the space. as far as double pedals i have heard great things about axix, pearl eliminator, pearl demon drive and pearl iron cobras. also heard dw is pretty good on the higher models. the beaters have a lot of effect on that too. my cheapo double pedals came with the felt marshmellows but i have some gibralter beaters ordered. if you want speed then my suggestion is the lighter plastic hammer style beaters.

  • im not really tryin 2 go all "hevay metal" and shit but im thinkin about gettin a double bass pedal just 2 make sum kool beats but not really the heavy meatal kind...anyways do u think i should get this pedal??

  • @thatkoolskater iv acually gotten a lot better with them and now i think there a decent pedal and since your not trying to play metal or anything then there great cuz there only 100 dollars

  • @beav2013

    oh ok.thx a ton man

  • @thatkoolskater oh ok.thx a ton man

  • @thatkoolskater for a little more money for 160 i would recommend for some cheap pedals mapex p380a pedals

  • im str8 wit these pedal, its jus i cant ever gey the right spring adjusment i want on them...and im not usually a fast double bass player, but wen i want to, they kinda dissapoint me...but i like them still

  • i dont think ima get these they dont look too good for speed

i found gibraltar ones tho for around like 100$

  • yah dude there not that great at all but im getting better with them i guess just cuz im getting use to to them but there alright

  • @WOLVES4842 no i have one of these and they are actually relly fast and its awesome and i play more faster music like asking alexandria and parkway drive and its just fine for thos

  • i have these pedals. bloody hate em

  • @GwarsuxFtw

    they be ok

  • yah there not exactly the best at all but for 100 dollars i guess there not too bad

  • i hate this pedal. get a pdp

  • nice... just add One right in there!

  • i cant go fast with those pedals

  • the thing that the beater hols on to the main one loosen that and move it into the right position and then tighten it

  • Dude... Stop trying to play fast double bass if you can't You're gonna develop bad technique. Start slowly, gradually increase the speed. I understand what you did. When I got my first double pedal, I tried to go fast too. Don't do that.

  • @explodingpimp i agree. thats the only way my dad would buy me double bass pedals was if i could play double bass with one foot on the right and play double bass with one foot on the left and you get crazy speed it really came in handy it taught me alot of discipline instead of just gettin doubles handed to me like this kid

  • one section sounded like one by metallica

  • How long are the footboards?

  • Have you tried moving the position of the beater ? not up and down but rotate the clamp to make it closer or farther away from the bass drum this should help playing dbl bass with just socks FTW!

  • my friend just got an sp pedal. hes hes having major setup issues and quality control is shit.

  • mm idk i like mine a lot and it was pretty cheap to lol

  • its because you dont play double bass stuff

  • It stays forward because the spring for that beater/pedal is too loose or tight.
