because its unrealistic...that just goes to show you how unrealistic the 90's one is when it comes to his strength. When abillboard or rocks fall on him he struggles, but he could toass rhino around like he was nothing? Its not about being weak...its about showing the fact spidermans enemies are sometimes stronger than him...you want to watch a hero beat the shit out of people for a half hour? ok seems kind of boring but alright.

I agree with this guy plus the one in the old 90's was a different story somewhat, Peter was already in college then while this one is still in high school like ultimate spiderman. This one sorta went back to it's roots where he sometimes doesn't know how to actually fight or hasn't achieved his full spider powers in my opinion. He's still a kid and plus each of his enemies were tough even 1 by 1 itself so imagine taking on the whole gang?

Yeah I like this series too, but you gotta admit, the 1994 animated series was pretty kick ass too. :) Also the violence isn`t as toned down as this. I like both, though. Carnage lacks appearances on this one...Probably because of his violent ways of killing, but he did appear in the 1994 series.

Oh no I'm a 90's kid and believe me I've watched so many reruns of that series through those years, it brings a tear to my eye just thinking bout it lol. Yeah that's true and Carnage is supposedly gonna come on season 3 dunno if it's true or not because if you've been watching the series they've been mentioning and names and showing people and they did show Kletus and mentioned Gargan aka scorpion. Just hope they do make another season

I heard a rumor that Spectacular is done...I can't confirm if this is true, though cos' it's a rumor. It wouldn't be hard to believe because of the fact that most Saturday morning cartoons end in about 2 seasons now-a-days. Mostly all animated shows in this Era. It's a bit sad how everything is changing not for the better, but for the worse, especially television. :/ I didn't like Spectacular too much, just seems like it ended too quick. I hate live-action shows, hope Disney don't take over tv.

Oh shit are you serious!?!?! damn yeah I noticed that it was first on CW then it went towards Nickolodeon *spelled that wrong*. Yeah it is sad and I also didn't like Spectacular but the fighting scenes are def. improvement in my opinion. Plus I'm a huge spiderman fan and thats the only series that was out *shrugs* still nowadays it is sad. I guess the golden age will forever be in the 90s........

lol it's never too late to get involved man. I actually liked that show for some odd reason, I don't know at first I was like eh but then as all of the spiderman series you get addicted and hooked onto it. Yeah I'm actually looking for the whole season of it. Love the fight scenes on those and Neil Patrick Harris is the voice of spiderman so it kinda fit perfect with the quirks. What bout you? what do you think?
