as much as I love the film, the book is so much more detailed, there were supposedly two children that Mary had by Henry, a boy and a girl and their affair lasted a lot longer than is portrayed in the film, borh children took Wlliam Careys name. William Carey died of the sweating sickness, when mary married Stafford she did it behind Annes back and at first Anne would not allow her to court.

I've watched this several times now coz that cute baby boy is my son, and we were gutted that the whole Mary/William storyline....which is the whole point of the story....was cut , for the US market. Still we had a bloody brilliant time filming it and Scarlett & Eddie are absolute babes!

Hmmm... so it seems to me they filmed but in some stage of post-production they cut the whole Mary/William storyline!? This storyline is what changes Mary and gives her independence AWAY from her family. I'm disappointed they cut it.

How is the baby girl Mary's holding her daughter with the King? He sent Mary and his son away at Anne's request right after he was born, and told Anne he'd never speak to her or whatever again.

@DirrtyXtina87 In the book it´s Henrys VIII and Marys first born daughter and the boy is the secund child but in the film the babygirl had to be william carey´s daughter because anne send her away right after henry was born. In the book Mary had no natural children with Carey.

@LittleQueenTudor actually Catherine Carey (Mary's daughter) is her daughter with the king. That's how it is in the book. They give her the last name Carey so it would look like William Carey is her dad.

the lilttle boy is henry right??? her first born??/ and then anne had henry send mary away as soon as the baby that is henry was born so how does she have another child?! it makes no sense!

in the book it was catherine who was bron first then henry but they skipped right to henry so how the heck did this other one just appear?!! unless it's baby anne which is highly unlikely as she and standford aren't married....

I know the book is mainly about Marry yet somehow they made the movie about Anne with bits about Marry. Though better than The Tudors only showed Marry like twice

Mary was shown approx 6 timesor so... I only posted 3 in my channel cuz they're the major bits, especially the one where Anne banished Mary for marrying Stafford

I can see why they deleted the scene...but it'd really have helped understand the whole Stafford "I can keep you safe, marry me" thing in the film which without the backstory is a little bit O_O.

Yes your right furthermore her husband is in the film not more mentioned after she comes to the king. They don´t say that he is dead so I was very confused when stafford asked her to marry him. XD

it's okay to be confused. The movie didn't really clarify anything. The only real right thing they did was get their names right hahaha. kidding. It was good entertainment though. Beautiful costumes. :)

I think this should be Catherine, her second baby (in the book it´s her first) with the king...also she was sent away just after she born her sonXD

I totally agree on that the movie sucked with the relationship of Mary and William. They didn't have enough chemistry and they should have definetly kept these scenes.
