I am restoring a 67 Chevy pickup from the ground up. I am gonna put in a 68 or newer bed, those wood beds are kinda rich to replace. What are you askin for yours?

Hmm one of the best catalogues is LMC trucks. They usually have parts for cheaper prices than other catalogues. Liked the the 67' truck... i have my own monster growing... a 1970 c-10 chevy 3 on the tree with a 383 stoker in her =)

SBC (small block chevy) parts are usually pretty cheap and easy to come by. Maybe you could put some vortec heads, a decent cam, a new intake manifold, and a better carb. Vortec heads are very common and you could probably get them at any junkyard. They were on 96-98 silverado/sierra small block V8s. Good luck with your build and message me if you need some help picking parts.

thanks man u probably will hear from me i ran into a couple snags already. the guy tried to help me get the rest of the manifolds off and cracked the valve covers prying them two of the studs snapped off and he sawzalled them out i got a jackleg mechanic i guess lol
