I have a doubt. Why stars are not visible at the time of full solar eclipse on july 22 2009. At that time we have observed full darkness and we know stars will be there at day time also but we can't see them becoz of sunlight. But at the time of sloar elcipse there is no sunlight. So we must see stars right.i was confused. Can anyone tell me the reason why we are not able to see stars when sun is not there. It may be silly for someone.but i really don't know the ans. So plz ans

Yeah you're right. Stars cannot be seen due to the sun's glaring light. So technically, you should have been able to see stars. But probably it was cloudy or you had a lot of pollution around you.
