I can't believe I never played this before. I haven't finished yet but by far this is the most fun I had playing any game period. It does many things, and it does it PERFECTLY. Story is okay, personally I enjoyed the story in BioShock much more. I don't know what happens in the end of so I can't really comment on that. However, this game just blows my mind. Visuals are damn impressive and some scenes just give chill down my spine. This game is just perfect. Better than Battlefield 3 :P

This game was all right.

Way too easy, and mildly annoying sometimes since you don't really die, or are penalized for death, and bosses are too easy since they just amount to finding which gun works, or when to go into spirit form.

Finished this yesterday. Had more fun with Prey then I ever had with Bioshock.

In fact, Prey's storyline is a lot better and more epic than Bioshock and many other (imo) overrated action games.

At first I was disppointed in this game cuz I thought the main character was kind of doof and some of the wall textures looked a lil' dated. But then as I was playing the game it had sort of an old school to it almost if I was playing Duke Nukem' again. It also comes up with some cool ideas I have not seen in any game like the gravity things. Also the main character has started to grow on me as he says some funny stuff from time to time.

This game really pushes the boundries in "perspective". Man a time you forget which way is down. And there's even a few points they mess with scale. Fighting on a 'moon' inside a small box is a bit weird.

My girlfriend and I got hectically stoned on weed coockies a few months back. We started playing this game. It freaked us out, however we couldnt put it down. It was sooo compelling. What scared us was that part where all those people get butchered (place where the grandfather dies). We sat there watching all those poor screaming people one after another for like 10 minutes. Disturbing! Especially when watching it on a 50 inch HD tv, just 50 cm from your face. It rocked!

it does seem kinda wierd with all the portals, aliens, creature-like weapons, and indian/tribe theme to the game. but if you really think about it, there is no other game like it. and that is what i love about prey. Prey is kinda like Doom3 fused with Duke Nukem with an indian theme.

I only played the demo, but it was one of the coolest games ever. It was trippy and you can mess with everything. Kinda messes with your head like Portal. Shame i didn't hear anything about it. Same with The Darkness, which also had great story/gameplay. Play that too if you haven't already. They did an awesome job of creating what hell would be like because you feel as if you are really there.
