@R18111983 ultimately it's NBA experience that counts so age is irrelevant. Plus Kobe's first 2 was as a sidekick to Shaq who was still in his prime. Shaq was the player being doubled, that other teams worried about. This didn't change until the 3rd ring season when they were equally critical to the team. And Jordan missed almost his entire second season. Give Jordan Shaq in his prime in his first year and Jordan wins a ring in the sname NBA years, if not sooner.

Two things I think of when I watch this video....Michael Jordan shortened a lot of people's careers, the ones that though they could play until they were fifty and just gave up after a few doses of Michael.....AND Bill Laimbeer shortened a lot of people's careers too, the ones that though they could get to basket without being fouled and just quit after a few doses of Laimbeer (and subsequent surgeries caused by his "defense")....

Not even close. Kareem, Robertson and Bird. Russell didn't have the offensive game to be complete and he played with 8 hall of famers in an 8 team league so I don't have him as highly as MJ.
