@albinohawiian26 my dog passed about 2 or three years ago, plus I would never purposely overfeed my dog for my own selfish purposes. However I do think Danes look cuter fatter lol

@kiwilimew Exactly what im thinking, no matter how much a i feed mine his skinny aswell... im not even sure that is a great dane. when i first saw it i thought it was the labrador o.o

@kiwilimew just like with people, added weight means added stress to the body. Great Danes already are inheriting possible issues with hip displacia because of their size. The less weight they have to carry the better. Don't make your dog suffer from obesity because you think it's cute.

wow this dane is massively over weight NOT GOOD !! and for those who dont know great danes are born with floppy ears it natural but in some countries they cropped them and insert metal rods to make the ears stand up they used to do this so they would not get injured while hunting but there is no need for it these day it not natural and ridiculous thing to do to a dog these day besides they look so much better with natural ears

Yea that dane is very overweight... I'm not saying it to bash you or be mean... but if you want to baby to be healthy for a long time and not in pain due to bone and arthritis problems, you should definitely drop it's weight. Poor thing...

no im sorry but danes are meant to be much leaner, now i understand if there was a chubby breed mixed with it bcus obviously thats not a purebread, but purebread danes are geneticly engineered to be very thin and fit due to there large mass as it is. so much wieght puts tremendous pressure on their bones

Its not a full breed great dane, Its probably mixed with the maschif (excuse the horrible spelling on that dog) My neighbor has a dog that was mixed like that looks almost exactly like that dog.

I am the guy in the shorts in the vid (it was summer!). I was nearly 16st (and likely sucking in the belly) at the time so i was not exactly small. The lab is mine and abou 11yrs old so fully grown.
