  • Can u please re-record in HD! That would be AWESOME. Otherwise, GREAT tutorial!

  • Best Glock disassambly video I have ever seen!

  • Didn't bother watching video due to the poor quality. Pls get an HD camera it is 2011

  • outstanding video..thx!

  • I love the special sound effects....sound so cool..

  • Some 12 year old is cleaning his Glock in Mexico

  • 21 democrats watched this video.

  • @Painkiller9013

Now 22. Not all Dems are anti-gun/anti-gun rights, many are gun owners who don't agree with being the puppets of corporations.. just saying...

  • how many pieces are there after a detail strip of a glock .23?

  • i detail strip a glock once a month 500 rounds usually

  • @pjicleanair420 I've had my 1911 for a year and put about 1200 rounds through, I have yet to detail strip it. Probably wouldn't hurt if I did though.

  • Nice work. Very clear instructions.

  • Great instructional video, easy to understand. Thank you for sharing

  • Thanks for the video, Glocks are the best.

  • It is a slide stop not a slide release.

  • I love Glocks!, not one screw!

I have a G36 (subcompact .45) and it has never malfunctioned in any way.

  • nice job!

  • thanks mann..

  • greeeat subed and 5of5

  • @cadw600 I tried to get used to the DA/SA trigger, and just didn't like transitioning from a 10-lb trigger to a 4.5-lb trigger. It was fine if I practiced with dry firing, but when I got a little rusty the first shot was always low left.

I guess I like the consistent pull of a Glock trigger even though the SA trigger of a SIG is much smoother (IMHO).

  • very very good video I really have the help I need to work in my glock23 thank you, good detail thank a lot bro

  • damn man. that was sweet. Informative. esp for a person like me that is going to be getting my first gun ever. thank you so much. nice work.

  • Thankyou thankyou thankyou.

I have been wanting to clean my glock since I purchased it.

You are very informative and move slow enough for me to follow.

I am not dumb however when most people tend to describe things they just say it

and don't point things out. great video

  • EXCELENTE VIDEO

  • thanks 4 uploading VAGUINFO/Mr ian...its informatif

  • Thank you for the video, it's extremely informative.

  • You helped me strip my softairgun. Hahah thanks.

  • i masturbate to this

  • WOW!! That's it?! Great video!

  • Great video! I love how simple Glocks are to work on. Detail cleaning any other pistol is a real pain in the a**, but you can completely strip a Glock with no effort at all!

  • Outstanding video lesson, thanks.

  • great video! Your video has good lighting, zooms in so I can see exactly what you are doing and your video is slow and not rushed like others so I can learn how to strip the slide. Your video was very helpful and better than others I have seen.

  • Great vid Thanks.

  • Very informative and helpful. It gives me confidence to field strip my glock. Thanks.

  • Comment removed

  • Super appreciate this video. I'm in GA and am buying a glock 22 tomorrow. I am an XD owner but I believe both armorers make an awesome gun. I wanted to detail clean the glock when i get it. thanks so much man. take care. wonderful detailed video

  • My firing pin safety is being scratched away at when I shoot my G26. It looks almost as if someone had slightly dremeled the firing pin safety. Anyone know what this could be caused from?

  • that narrator is a former hitman........uuuummmmpppp!

  • I let my sithy do this!

  • MAMAHUEVO!!

  • i like how he says "TOOWEL" or tool, or tuel, or tewl, or toewl.

  • LOL, "we're going to make sure the magazine has been removed" (as it sits there on the towel in plain view.

  • I usually keep my glock trigger in the rearward position, will it wear out my trigger spring????

  • redneck!

  • good job !

  • Excellent video and instructions on detail strip, I personally love to clean my G19 thoroughly especially when I spend a long day at the range. I was not sure how to detail strip my piece and was afraid to damage it but now after watching your video I'm more confident and love the thought that I can really clean my G19. Great Job! and thanks for sharing!

    Gun Rule #1 Safety first!

  • Excellent video. Just what I was looking for...If there's one thing I can't stand, it's a dirty gun, and I was a bit apprehensive about breaking down my new Glock 17 (20th Anniversary, no less), but this video simplified everything and put my fears to rest. Well done.

  • this is one of the best field strip video on youtube

  • Well done instruction. The video quality and view detail is excellent. The camera zoomed in when the parts started getting small. It's on my Favorite list now.

  • when do u need to disassemble to whole gun?

  • cleaning it and stuff, maybe put in some spare parts

  • Parts breakage. Getting to know your firearm so if something does break, you don't waste money getting a gunsmith to do something simple as a spring or part swap

  • As the others said, for cleaning, for putting in spare parts, or also for upgrading it with performance parts.

  • Very nice video. Very helpful to me as i am somewhat of a new glock owner.

  • Nice Video

  • If you want to disassemble the magazine you have to push down the spring through the hole in the bottom, then squeeze the sides of the mag while pulling the floor plate forward and off. I found this tricky i had to use diagonal pliers (well padded with a rag!)

  • this is a good video!! thank you my friend!

  • This helps me fall asleep :)

  • thanks for a detailed yet simple to follow tutorial.

  • yeah!! now i can clean my gun after i kill some goombas!!

  • The hell is a goomba?

  • I actually lol'd at this.

    Thanks, you made my day.

  • @christian7750 You never have played and/or heard of Mario Bros?

  • At 4:53 he almost cuts his hand open......

Always push knives away, never pull toward. That's what my grandaddy always said.

  • @dasurflife ya i cringed when he did that. my grandfather said the same thing. he's got all his fingers so i trust his advice haha.

  • @dasurflife

Thats a very good idea, and should be practiced when applicable.

But it's not always applicable though, in some situations. No one every died from a middle class suburbia from a little cut to the finger that a simple bandaid will fix. I know that we have become soft as a society but come on. Remember the saying NO PAIN NO GAIN. What ever happened to that?!?!?!? But I guess thats just a little redneck and army in me though saying that.

  • @SSshane6d9

there is a BIG difference between NO PAIN NO GAIN mentality vs. some retard who cuts himself everytime they touch a knife. why would you cut yourself when you don't have to? just to prove that your some tough guy? ALWAYS CUT AWAY FROM YOU! it's a very simple rule. just like never put your finger on the trigger unless you intend it to go BANG.

  • kindly upload the tourus pt24/7 pro 9mm detail feild strip plz plz

  • geez, how am I gonna put my gun back together now??? :(

  • go step by step in reverse

  • very nice very helpful

haha looked like he was surprised by the firing pin

  • Great video, very informative. I just took my G27 apart for a thorough cleaning.

  • Great video except for referring to the frame as the slide and the slide as the frame...

  • great detailed video thanks. got to love Utube

  • it's not as easy as you think

  • so's i can pop me some no gooders you unpatriiotic liberal!

just kidding, not really a redneck :P

  • You do give all kinds of info. You have to fill out paperwork, be a US citizen, must to be 21 to buy a handgun, and you can't be a felon.

  • I have had a glock 19 for 7 years and have put 16k to 18k rounds through it. I have never had a problem and only count less than 20 feed malfs at the range in that 7 years. I believe it is due to doing an annual "complete disassembly" clean, check & lube and a field strip clean after any session. I now noticed some chewing marks on my firing pin safety where it meets the pin and marks on the pin itself. These were minor and do not currently affect function but I going to replace them anyway

  • The nice thing about Glocks: replacement parts are inexpensive, and you can take the whole pistol down with one simple tool. Glocks rock!

I switched from SIGs and never looked back.

Great vid, BTW! It's linked from GlockTalk now.

  • @SputnikJunior are you serious? i feel like switching to sigs. why the switch to a glock?

  • Great video, thank you.

  • 5 Stars video good job!!! but is it legal 2 have a gun

  • I'm not sure about Denmark, where your Youtube profile says you live. I'm in America where gun ownership is very common.

  • @vaguninfo

Sadly that also results in poorly made guns since there are people who just want a gun for the sake of it. *cough*saturdaynightspecial*cough*

  • @JIAK2 Even if guns were illegal, true Americans would still obtain guns. It's just how we roll.

  • @chicago6584 some people would make guns

  • @chicago6584 this country was built on guns, preserved with guns, and our culture, made around guns...to try to disarm the American public is to try to kill the American spirit itself....and I say good luck with that.

  • @JIAK2 youve got to be the biggest bumb ass on the net

  • @tdryan242 I agree with your comment other than that it says "bumb" you DUMBass

  • Very nice tutorial. thank you very much. 5 Stars

  • Why does Glock recommend against detail stripping their pistols?

  • Great stuff. I needed this video. Thanks for posting!!!

  • lol force it out using your tool

  • I have a new glock 20c and wanted to change the back plate, but didn't know how till I came across your video. Thanks for your help.

  • great video, thanks a lot.

  • I was going to pay for a slide stop upgrade and thanks to you I did it in less than 3 minutes thank you. Great video!!!

  • great video. Keep up the good work and thanks again!

  • Thanks, best step by step video yet!

  • So many negative dickhead responses

I have just aquired my Glock 17a (australian model) and found your clip very informative Thanks heaps Mate....As for negative comments get a life you pack of wannabe's

  • I approve the idiots because I believe in free speech and open debate. If someone says something dumb, I know they will be corrected by the more informed.

  • i own 15 guns. all of them i can take apart to the last little screw. that is why i only own 15. i have had more guns than i can count but the ones that i understand why they function the way they do are the ones i trust my life with. i feel this should not be done with a glock often but at least every year, that is if you shoot as often as i do. understand and respect your gun.

  • If you do not take a gun down completely there will be several problems in your future.

Either it will get so dirty you wont be able to shoot it properly (people like you are the reason so many GREAT guns have bad names- not the gun its the CLEANER)

Second why pay a smith 100's of dollars to fix something you can do!

  • Also, you won't always be able to get top quality ammo. I once made a mistake of buying slightly crummy ammo from a salesperson. After taking my Glock completely apart, I was surprised by how dirty it was and it was past 2,000 rounds at the time. It took a loooong time to get the "guts" cleaned out. Learned my lesson: never buy discounted ammo from a gun shop you don't know much about.

  • Besides a more detailed cleaning, some of the major parts can be replaced with stronger aftermarket parts such as a titanium firing pin. If you desire such parts, you should know how to do this. Personally I dont consider it mine till I know how to disassemble it down to its basic parts. This goes for my gun, paintball guns, cars, computers, guitars and amps, all that shit.

  • i guess you can never consider an automatic transmission yours

  • @joeboxer7

In the military they teach you to take your weapon and field strip it, and then put it together and it has to be able to shoot. By the way did I mention you are blind folded while doing this! There's a reason you have to do this, become familiar with your weapon. Just because you may not have to, doesnt mean you shouldnt know how to. Every gun needs cleaned, even the indestructable M16 need's it. So all in all it's not Over Kill. Hes just educating the people who own this weapon.

  • Great MaN Encore, more vids on everything!

  • thanks your vid is awesome it shows close ups i shouldnt have any problems now putting on a new extended slide lever!!!

  • i have that knife, it sucks. its made by gerber.

  • I've got a fine gerber knife. coated 440A stainless steel etc, nothing wrong with it i'm sure.

  • Well done, thanks for the vid.

  • thankyou,very helpful : )

  • Excellent video, thank you. I've been wanting to take my glock 17s slide apart for a while now. Time to get cleaning!

  • You NEVER use the slide release without easing the slide forward when there is no magazine or ammunition in the firearm

  • This ain't your daddies 1911.

  • lol wned thanks great wid

  • YOU never do that, And guess what bro Nobody gives a fuck what you do, if this guy ( you know the owner of it, the guy who bought it) wants to do that, then let him... its his fucking gun..

  • glock27 rules !!!!

  • Just wanted to say thanks for video. Using it, I sucessfully installed a 3.5 lb connector on my 26. Will use it again to install an extended slide release when it comes in.

    Thanks again

  • What if a little part rolls off of the white blanket and into the grass? Then what?

  • excellent info. thanks much

  • really good video thanks ..

  • Good video. would like to see complete disassemble (i.e. firing pin). Thanks

  • Great video - I'm going home and giving my G17 the once over!

  • DO NOT USE A KNIFE!!! You will mar the parts and you just might cut yourself. Use a flathead screwdriver which is what glock recommends.

  • Great info. I got my G23 taken apart AND put back together with ease. Saved me money rather than sending it in. Thanks!

  • Thanks much for posting this video. I need to remove the slide plate cover and needed to know how to do it.

  • informative video. sweet jnco shirt by the way

  • Ha ha, that's a REAL old shirt.

  • Thanks So much for the video. Great Job, Hope to see more from you.

  • very nice vid. how did u learn to do all that?

  • nice video...can u show how to take out the magazine catch/lock?couldn't find any video about it

  • Taking that particular part out of the gun is EXTREMELY unnecessary unless you break it. It will scratch your gun and just shouldn't be messed with.

  • NIce video, thanks. One thing though, on my Glock 26 the knife is unnecessary. if you look on the flip side where the connector goes in Glock has a little round hole there in the connector slot for you to push the connector out with your Glock tool, no knife necessary.

  • Only on the newer models, I believe. A Glock 19 just has a rectangular slot where the connector fits in.

  • Great video! Clear explanations and steady, detailed camerawork. Thanks for posting it.

  • So professional. Thanks a bunch.

  • Great vid!! When can we expect the "re-assembly" video?? My glock is laying here in pieces!!! :( hehe..

  • I intend to make a reassembly vid, but right now I'm much too busy. Another part of the problem is I need someone who can operate the camera while I explain things.

  • Excellent video . I own a model 19 Glock I guess it is safe to say it is not any different than the gun you used? My Glock misfires every now and then. Could it be that I need to clean the firing pin inside the slide?

  • Thank you so much for this detailed vid.

I've been wanting to change out my factory trigger connector for a 3.5lb one, but was a little intimidated to try it myself.

Following your procedure step by step made it easy and painless(although my 2nd gen model 17 has one pin up front instead of two).

I love how simple these Glocks are. I also own a 1911, as well as a Ruger mk2, and they're much more of a pain in the ass to assemble and reassemble by comparison.

  • and i thought i knew about guns :P

  • Amazing! But, boy I can tell you I woulnt do it outside like you! you got gut! also how do you change the sights?

  • damn this is a better weapons class than those in the military ive learned in the military thus far.

  • thats some complex shit 5/5

  • You are an idiot.

  • that's an understatement.

  • lmfaoz you'll be dead before you even know what happen!

  • I think it is called a joke

  • What if they're not using a Glock!

  • very good video!!!!

  • very instructional

  • the Glock 36 is by far the easiest pistol i have field stripped yet the Colt .45 is almost as easy

  • you don't need that knife to remove the connector the punch will push it out from the back side

  • Same here! Great Stuff. Other guns as well... HK USP Line and M&P SW.

  • could you do a re-assembly video in the future ?

  • Lol! You were following along and found yourself in a pickle, didn't you?

  • Excellent video. Thank you for taking the time to post it. The instruction and camera work made for a very informative video.

  • again another great educational video. owned my g21 for a week an took it apart and back together thanks to this video

  • Thank you....great educational tool.

  • Long live the second amendment.

  • The 80s called, they want their bracelet back! LOL just messin. Good instruction video.

  • thanks for the vid ian. great job. I have the glock 19. which kind of oil would you recomend? by the way, I only field strip down to the barrel, spring, and slide. no way am I going to get into all of that shit. I love my firearm and I would never want to mess it up.
