  • Your G's looks like six'es..

  • Seriously? A kid with perfect pitch and no better instrument in the house?

  • can u imagine identifying all sounds that you hear all the time...:) the choo choo of the train, the beep of an alarm clock, the sound of toaster when it's done its toasting, etc.

  • @meilyn25 if you have perfect pitch, you do do what your saying. all sound produces a musical tone. some tones are harder to intrepret than others due to the hearing range of humans.

ive learned to kinda, "try" to not pay attention to it (if that makes sense). you cant turn perfect pitch off.

  • the ending scares me. no joke.

  • wow, that kid is right

  • I've had perfect pitch since I was 2. Maybe cause of the years of tormet my dad put me through. but, it's worth it. Especially as a drummer

  • @loghogcool2 if ur in a band and the other one doing wrong stuff you can correct them and things like that, its always usefull in the music industry.

  • this is cool! i met a 4th grader that has perfect pitch. it was cool finding someone else in such a small town with this talent... but i could not stand that high G i had to turn off the volume. damn sensitive ears...

  • haha I've also got it. When you've got it, then it's easy to tell the notes:)

  • I hope in his teenager years he do not listen to very loud music and destroy this gold ears.

  • It doesn't matter... he could go deaf and still know what the notes sound like. Beethoven was deaf but he had perfect pitch which is why he could still write music even after he lost all his hearing.

  • That is just crazy! He is really crazy good! Did you break any dishes?

  • wow. that's cool. thanks Gavin!

  • Does anybody know if you can learn this?

  • yes you can. It might come easier to some people, but I do think you can learn. Every key has it's own "personality/emotion" and it's just about figuring out what each key means to you. I recommend writing down how each key makes you feel and going from there. For example G and F have the greatest difference (to me). F is annoying/twangy (to me). I'm 23 and I went from not knowing any keys to learning all of the white ones within 4 days. Now on to the black keys! I hope this helps!

  • @syelirdad A friend of mine said that he learned to have perfect pitch. However he had to train real hard at it and it disapeard as soon as he stoped the training.

  • You did an awesome job, Gavin! Keep up the good work!
