I got cancer and right after my last treatment my husband left me on xmas eve!!! If a song can make a man cry hearing this song, how could he leave me homeless.. copy and paste some day I would like to know why??

@wire4paladin Not that I ever disliked (on youtube) this song, but I have known my fair share of pain, but I did dislike hearing it, I just thought it was, well, mediocre for a Gabriel song... lol My least favorite on So. But like most great songs, it grew on me over time, and now I really appreciate the song for what it is, the sparse arrangement fits the song very well, and I love the world influences on the music. But to each their own, some ppl just might not understand it yet. lol

@thewordthatpierces Good points! I'm an ex-fighter and heard this song on an Ali video called "Ali Tribute emotional". It made an impression on me and I had an instant understanding of the song because of my background. In the Ali video, the song is playing while showing Ali in his current (sad) physical state. I can understand if it doesn't have the same impact on others, but I'm still hard pressed to understand why anyone would hit the "dislike" button on it...

It reminds me of when I was a kid... but it relates so much now that i am an adult. A man and a decent father, or at the very least trying to be. It's not easy though.
