  • I placed several of your videos in my favourites. Subscribed to you as well for future videos. You just gave us some excellent ideas for this Halloween & future Halloweens. May even compliment some of our Gothic furniture as well. Which we've been collecting since 2004. Thanks for these marvelous ideas. We really do appreciate it. :) Who knows! You may eventually see videos from us someday. ;)

  • rob zombie right, that was a pretty cool video!

  • i use pva glue!

  • Pretty sweet vid. I took the liberty of buying some tombstones fomr walmart ($ 4.00) and set them up on halloween (I go crazy on halloween) I had a huge grave yard set up with 6 stomb stones and a grave yard fence this will def help for next year THANKs a bunch :)

  • this will be great for a project, but the sound where she cuts the "R" really sends some kind of chill up my back

  • I know! Freaky sound, brrrr.

  • you guy's did very good!!!!!!!!!!! 66scott68!

  • Pretty cool.

  • this looks really fun! thanks for the vid.

  • ive dont this b4fore but with a hi temp hot glue gun the only thing you have to do is take one of those hair wetter's that the people at the haair cuttery has and you LIGHTY water ur serverses then glue and stick it coles it down plenty

  • omg i made one just like this before i saw this vid (but ours is better :)

  • thx that will save some money!(^:!

  • lol i couldnt do that cause of theat screething sound of the styrofoam it makes me feel weird but i might do it thuis year it seems like fun

  • i know exactly what you mean about the sound of the styrofoam

  • Why do you work on the floor??

  • i guess itd be hard for me to do because the sound of styrofoam makes me feel all wierd ( I HATE THE SOUND OF STYROFOAM! ) but i like your creativity. =P

  • i have that problem with vacuum-cleaners... (yeah! its really dirty here at my desk :P)

  • I have that problem with squeaky shoes....LOL ropropper

  • The video which is good made.

  • sweet

  • its fake

  • dear god, get a life, it's halloween!

  • this was sooo kool i tried to make it but it turned out horrible lol

  • COOL!!!

  • make some for christmass

  • cool

  • you could have kept the plastic on while you carved out your letters then before you peeled it off use a light dusting of black for depth, thats pretty much how monuments are made nowadays only with 3M rubber and sand blasting..

  • Technically it costed like $10 - $20. First you have to buy the foam, then the hangers, the spray paint, the plyers, the glue stuff, and the utility knife. So you are looking around $10 - $20. Idk bout you, but i dont keep a supply of spray paint or glue at my house so yea, it would cost me around $15 all together. (just pointing out the obvious, ill get flamed or it lol)

    Good job though.

  • well usualy you have most of that stuff in your house =P

  • wow great! thanks so much for showing us the tips, really nice!

  • thats awsome ty! i like it alot ...u r the greatest!!!

  • LOL "you can get these tombstones in any party store" - yeah in america maybe not round these parts boy - we're all getting ready to "burn the witch" and any unfortunate tourists who wander into our english / west country village.

  • It's a lot easier to cut that stuff with a hot knife.......

  • my dad made these about 14 years ago they looked great infact of the tombstones read "Here Lies an Athiest All Dressed up and Nowhere To Go"

  • uhhh funny, but kinda weird, w/ee

  • personally, me I stole a true one of the grave yard, but nice work :)

  • oh, you are a thief! no, just a joke. :D

  • :O zomg nice :D

  • everybody give this guy a thumbs up :D

  • Could you make a video with tips on how to do THAT??

  • oh tombstone lol at first i though they say trombone

  • lol thats crazy how to make a trombone lmfao

  • i made one once! hahaha

  • should have used a little green for moss or mould

  • lol u got -4 i got -5 i win =)

  • I use wood...

  • have i mentioned store bought ones look way better

  • I'm sorry I make mine out of concrete. It is fun and easy. Plus that way if i break it playing around it still seems real. SO HAHAHAHA burn all the little styrofoam tombstones Do it the right way. CONCRETE

  • 6:21, "We like it rough". Lol.

  • "took us less than 20 minutes" yah right, at the beginning it's like noon and it's like 9:00 when they r done.

  • Oh, yeah!!! =)))))))))

  • Whoa whoa there

" may cost $7 from a store" How much did yours cost again? including all the materials and the Time?

  • The Headstones:

"Went down to the cemetery, Lookin' for love; Got there and my baby was buried, I had to dig her up"

  • I think, it's sort of like a girl's thing and stuff kind of or something, hehe

  • cool

  • Id rather buy them from the store for 3 dollars more. Save myself the aggravation, time, and man hours.

  • rofl takes them less then 20 minutes! it started in the morning and ended at night time!

  • wow...they cut well when there sharp..very intresting..2:05

  • If u went to work for the amount of time it took u to make these tombstones you'd be able to buy tombstones from the store AND have money left over to order porn with

  • Sorry. . . REAL immature and all, but. . . STYROFOAM BALLS!!!!! LOL

  • gah! the 5 minutes and 17 seconds I did watch were boring as hell! Man, imma just go buy one at the store! Or at least watch a more interesting video. Its explanatory, but give it a little flare, it was too boring.

  • less than 20 mins hahahahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

  • Tacos!

  • coooooooooooool

  • hahahaha nice one

  • "a little bit wider than the foam is thick" wtf?

  • Wow u managed to waste a whole 15:17 sec. of my time i appluad u

  • you can also just quit watching after a minute or so... now, you've just wasted a few seconds of my time while reading your message...:/

  • i should realy grow up u know lol

  • yea lol any way the tombs are cool i gotta to acept

  • Hurts to see this..

Kind of like watching a child, instruckt an adult how to drive a semi truck..

    Haha..

  • we do a haunted house every year and we've never had the money for those tombstones thanks for posting this

  • I think I'll use that idea for the next Halloween! Thanks.

  • ya that rocked keep it up.

  • get a life buddy at least they put time into something they enjoy. i thot it was prety kool. unlike your attitude. why do u waste your time complaining anyways.

  • In the end that looks really good! But the video is too long, skip the first 13 minutes...

  • You're great! I love Halloween and I'm always doing Martha Stewart crafts, this is great! You two should make more! Great video, it's easy to follow and I love your ideas! The only problem was the coat-hanger thing didn't work. I live in New England and it's a bit windy, but i solved the problem by putting some rocks near the bottom to help the coat-hangers. And lucky for me the rocks added a spooky graveyard effect. Thanks guys! hope you read this!

  • i think this is kinda cool tbh lol ur all sad lamers for watching and then flaming lmfao it cost $7 lol i would rather pay 15 than waste my time but still they got good thing going they enjoy doing it so go 4 it lol

  • Oh yeah, nice and quick! not. By the looks of how light it is, they've been doing it on all day

  • yes it took 20 mins.....i didnt know a day went for 20 mins....notice how its light then its dark lmao

  • rofl, a chemical reaction in between the paint and Styrofoam...its more like it goes into the bubbles...retard

  • they should stop sucking and make something worth watching

  • Why's the girl doing all the work?

  • because he doesnt know how to do it XD

  • Because women are slaves.

  • be carefull... don't let retards use the knife! lol

  • I wus bored you guys are dumb

  • Looks good, can't wait to try this out

  • can i put up a 15 minute video too?

  • that lady is boring

  • Wow, cool.

  • 1st off the guy said that one in the store costs 7 - 15 dollars. but in the end the tombstone he makes he says costs about 7 dollars any way. plus the board you bought is worth 15 dollars. so again that would equal wat it would be for the one in a party store. second of all u forgot the cost of the spray paint, glue gun, and the knife so your lying.

  • anyway, you cant buy fun of DIY with $,right?

  • the tip says cut away from your self and she did the oppisite bad influence

  • If you enjoy making things this is the way to go, great tips..better than giving $20 and up at retail stores..plus kids would enjoy making them also

  • What a great tip.

  • wow

  • This works! I have about 5 of them in my yard ^^ So nice looking in our quiet neighborhood... heh heh heh...

It didnt cost me much... i don`t know how to calculate exactly to dollars but i`d say about 15-16$ ... i think... Anyways, it was really cheap, i got most of the stuff for free...

  • this won't cost more than $7? (14:57) if i'm not mistaken they said that each board costs about "$15, $16 at the most" and they used at least 2 of them! (1:07)

  • it's a good idea but you people make me sleepy

  • Wow thanks, we might do that next year, or I might make one and hang it up in my room lol.

  • im definatly putting one in my room :)

  • some ppl really do have to much time on dere hands

  • and some people still dont know the difference between "to", "too", and "two"

  • lol

  • oh ssh ttyping error

  • this is KINDA kool but it made me fall asleep.and that sqeeky sound is killin my ears!!!!

  • omg you help so much

  • lol, notice how at the beginning he says that if you buy them they can cost maybe 7 dollars, and at the end after doing all that, he says that it only cost 7 dollars... that made sense...

  • He said 'a piece of styrofoam is maybe 7 dollars', then 'but a tombstone is 15, maybe 20 dollars'... Try listening once more? :)

  • that was very good

  • Maybe I can use a utility knife to CUT MYSELF as punishment for watching this!!!!

Remember: You are the ones who brought me to this.

  • Most retractable knifes became flexible and do not cut well, she means to get one that is still usable and not as useless as you people in bed.

    jk.

    =]

  • Thanks for posting the video!

  • "It cuts really well when they're really sharp"

no shit sherlock lol, i think almost every knife in the world does that

  • cool

  • FUK U

  • Oh and sorry i forgot one other point.

Wtf did you have the glue gun out when you never used it. Silly

  • To show people one more thing that you may use, e.g. if you don't have spray glue?

  • Strange video but still alittle fun. Urm a few things wrong with it.

One = The skull looked crap

Two = what the fuck jacket were you wearing (so 1980's)

three = At the start you said the Styrofoam costr something like $8 - $13 so there for why did you say that it cost $7 at the end.

Fourth = Wtf is a Utility knife it's called a stanley knife.

Although the end result looked cool, nice one. =)

  • A few things are wrong with your comment. Stanley is a brand name, so a Stanley knife is also a utility knife. You need to listen over again to the start, you're wrong. Who cares what they wear? If you look for negatives in everything you see, sure you'll find something to criticize - but what's the point?

  • it looked kinda cool as a blue skull

they seem so up tight about your safety haha

and i suppose you could keep using the head stones for a few years

  • lol, at 4:13 it tells you to cut away from yourself.....but shes cutting towards herself <_<

oh and btw, it is a chemical reaction ;)

  • wow i'll have to try that next year ^^

  • at 14:36 How you say its a chemical reaction? Impossible.. Polystyrene + Spray Paint means nothing.. Expanded Beads are melted into that. as if spray paint does not cause a chemical reaction with something that has no chemicals inside it anymore whatsoever, its just a plastic after melting

  • polyorphiene + spray paint +oxygen plus alot of other stuff like indroestrophene... it can happen learn ur chemical reactions noob... it happens.. if the world ran on ur brain we would all be dead in 1 minute.. noob..oh and everything has to have chemicals in it.. it cAN HAPPEN... IF IT CANT NAME THE PROCESS?

  • ow yes its can eat into the foam cause i had this model gleu once and i tried to gleu 2 peaces of foam together and i et one drop on it and it eated al the way tru in an instant really weird it also dit with some plastic jars but it didnt went as fast as the foam

  • it dont look that good

  • i think the girl hates the guy -.-

  • creative :)

  • I put "be back in never years" On mine last year, everyone who saw it stoped and stared....

  • 400th comment!!

    great vid. by the way

  • i was not impressed with the round tombstone, but i did like the cross

  • lol they stayed there a day for making only one?!?

  • That tombstone isn't very good. I've made better ones, and I was 10 when I started helping my dad with halloween!!!

  • Seems to me that it is a real good way to start for those who never did it before. Not everybody has a dad who did halloween decorations, and in many countries celebrating halloween the way you do in the US, is something new. In Norway it just started the past 5 years or so, so tut's like this may be very useful.

  • i am SO doing this next halloweeen!

  • my grave stone said

    "i'll be back"

    lolz

  • I am so doing this next year!

  • i did that one.. except it was just cardborad and spray paint XD

    "R.I.P. Voldimort"

    O.o;;

  • at the end it says 20 minutes but if you look at the daylight through the video it probably took 1-2 hours.

  • I've actually done this before, but they've given me a few new ideas. I like the commenter's suggestion about using the ceiling paint (with the lumps in it), too! I'm big into halloween decorations, but it does get very expensive!

  • Using water based paint like cheap ceiling paint, mixing with pigments and painting e.g. with sponges, is also much more children friendly. By sponging different shades, you can get real nice effects. + Let the kids participate in the fun... :)

  • Also, you can easily add things in water based paint, like sand etc. Using cheap dry wall type spackle (sp? word?) is real cool in building up a neat surface before starting with the ceiling paint. Haven't done it on tombstones, but on other things and I'm sure it would work real well. This does not dry too quickly either, so you can use rags etc. to work on the surface.
