yes, it can read your entire library much like windows itself would read it...PCDJ is proably the most freindly software when it comes to managing your library because it uses the windows explorer to find files.
wanted to know one more thing i have a ex hard drive and was usein winamp befor well it dont like win vista so i cant get it to work but when it did work i could add all media to a libary and there it all was wanted to know dose this have a way to do that as well i dont want to go buy it if it dont thanks
If you have a laptop you are viewing on the laptop screen, you should have a VGA output on the back that you can plug a TV/Projector/VIDEO monitor into. You can drag the window over to view using dual monitor options in windows. Check out djsellman123 for a video he did on this.
It is really very similar to virtual DJ. It can definitly play and mix the song just fine. The thing is I still wish they had an on screen view of the singers name so you didn't rely on the slips. I get many people that walk up to me and tell me their name and song and I type it in. More eco-friendly I guess and less cost into slips. However it is nice to be able to transition back to a DJ set flawlessly with this software. Great Vid!
This turned out to be the worst dj soft ware I ever worked with. Slow response

How do you get the audience view on a 2d monitor. I tried using an extended desktop, but i cant maximise the audience view screen

try getting the extendend monitor to work first with another application then come back to the software to make it work....

why the hell does this look like a clone of Virtual DJ? its just modified a little.... but for the most part it is identical to Virtual DJ!!!!
even the settings area is the same... same icons same layouts...
the original pcdj FX was not similar to Virtual DJ ill just stick with that!

pcdj kj has that feature. surprised it's not in video version.
in kj u can use that to automate your waitlist - good if you use karaoke files as backing tracks in a set ;o)
