u can trim the tab off the side of the plug with a xacto as the traxxas owners manual states.

Not sure how useful this demo is. A heli gyro will stabilize one axis only when no transmitter input is present. As soon as you input, or "turn" in this case, the gyro is bypassed. It won't effect your turns at all. When you let go of the control, then the gyro kicks in and compensates for small changes in direction. If you want to test it, try driving in a straight line with and without the gyro. With the gyro, you should get a really good line, without wobbles or drifting.

buy some cheep tires and take off the spikes or "do a burnout" and ware them down then u drift mroe then can u make a vid plz =) if not ill use my slicks and make a vid once i get it

just got a vxl system in my slash and im running 2s. i just got my gyro and installed it and its working great. had some trouble finding a place for it because the leads are so short but i just put it right behind the receiver box. works great so far just testing but i havent had a chance to actually run it because i was jumping and blew my shock caps. ive got aluminum ones on the way. i actually didnt have to reverse my gyro at all on the slash. i have it set to full gain. ill have to tune it.

hey man first of all what speed is your taxxas rustler, and second, does it have more than one gear??

With the 2S lipo battery I have it will easily do 40+ (it I went 3S it could easily do 60-70+), and there are two gears that you can change out to adjust the speed and torque and than three more inside the transmission.

China makes some great stuff infarct iPods are made in china (i think), and there is a lot of other great stuff made in china, it's just that when you go into a dollar store and look at all the cheep plastic toys that only last a day, it says "made in china" on the bottom, and I ordered the gyros from china so that is why I was blaming the Chinese plastic.

And just to let you know I have nothing at all against china, in fact I think it would be a rely cool place to go:)

just to let you know the gyro dose not increase the speed of the truck at all.

The car I have is the Traxxas Rustler, and you can get one new for about $300, but then you will need battery's and a charger, so more like $400.

Watch my other videos " My Rustler VXL" and " My Rustler VXL Update" and you will see the exact setup I am using, and as it is my truck will do about 45mph, but if I got a 3S battery and changed the gearing, it would do about 70+mph

Trust me, once you get over 50, its no fun. You fuck up your tranny, and small bumps can make you fly off the street. Its not fun at all.

I agree, I was going 40mph and my brother hit me and I flipped and bent one of my STRC carriers ;(, and to tell you the truth, doing speed runs is not much fun compared to bashing at the BMX track.

That sucks. I have a great street for speed runs, but its still just doesn't compare to bashing.

I love the curbs on my street, they are curved up, so you can use them as ramps, the bad part is that if you kiss one at around 70, your gonna fly.

no mate it wont as your heli has one built into its main board already :( if you wanted to use this gyro you would have to get RX, 2x ESC, GYRO, and possibly servos too and by time you spent that money you might aswell get a cheap HH gyro which would be better for that setup than a rate gyro ;)
