  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • This is USA vs England?

    ???

  • @jerz211 much better than white trash

  • first place prize is a working toilet.

  • omg indian smell!

  • dhalism!

  • lmfaoooooooo

  • We were playing this at our village on rough land and the rules were different...

  • so... does the timer start when contact is made or when they start the raid? and why do the stoppers hold hands? it looks like small punches are ok, but no one ever hits hard. what are the rules about hitting, if there are any?

  • bhai jii yellow kashe wala vi marra nii

  • 1:38 is fucking cool

  • im sorry but wtf is going on.

  • why do the stoppers form a chain?

  • @34bokke99 to catch a rider.. if they stop him from touching the center line(going back) they will get a point.. and if rider touches the catchers and successfully go back to center line ,riders team will get point..(dependin upon how many members he did touch and came back).. and now the team wich defended now will ride.. the winner is decided by the points wich they scored fulltime..

  • 4:02 ---> tunak tunak tun!!!! OMFG!

  • I don't quite understand, when the one guy comes across the line and tries to touch one of the four, are they all aloud to try and hold him back? or only who he touches?

  • @The1911Punisher in this style only one defender is allowed to attack and prevent the raider from returning. In other styles the whole set of defenders (stoppers or anti-raiders) can hold the raiders back

the stopper can make contact first of the raider can make contact

  • are the raiders supposed to hold their breath the whole time?

  • they don't have to repeat kabaddi kabaddi anymore in this style. they stopped doing this years ago. they now have a 30 or 28 second timer once they cross the mid line to touch someone and get back

  • huh? hasn't it always been like that

that repeating kabaddi kabadii, and holding breath thing is only for when kids play at school, to make the game more gentle

kinda like touch football vs tackle football

  • I've got the strongest legs ever, they crush people.

  • actually one team has 3 black guys stopping

  • @kala4200 Ye i was thinking the same thing. Is that so? but the announcer calls them with punjabi names

  • like a big game of red rover..

  • or american football without a ball

  • nice sport strong

  • Sick! I wish I wished I lived in a place with desis not just white people, eventhough I don't care too much.

  • best kabaddi clip i ve ever seen.....gurlal, baazi jand and jinder...seen them on their best in here....great stop by baazi

  • This game looks AWESOME! How on earth has this sport not been adopted in New Zealand?! It's totally the kind of things we like to play!

  • They play this in New Zealand. You should give it a try.

  • How do you play this?

  • Look below and numberoneJATT answered this question. It's also answered on another page of this videos comments.

  • The stop at 1:30 with the kanchi kick is DOPE!!! Nice work veer.

    Good video. Commentary is great.

Wow whoa, these guys look tough! They'd fit right in on a rugby field I s'pose. Are they weightlifters, or do they get that huge from Hindu-squats?

  • no lol they just train

  • a lot of these players train properly with weights and a lot of them get huge legs by doing loads of bethaks (Hindu squats)

  • I came here to see what kabaddi was.. Interesting.. A friend said he was doing this in school or something.. Don't queit understand but looks fun :D

  • The game is pretty simple. 2 teams. A raider from each team goes to the other teams territory. This raider has to touch one of the stoppers and get back to his side within 30 seconds. The stoppers are the 4 guys linked together by arms. Their job is to prevent this raider from the other team from getting back to his side. The raider can only touch ONE person and that person is then required to stop him from getting back. Game requires alot of skill, teamwork, speed, and brute force.

  • @numberoneJATT wow gud presentation

  • daniel1uk ur comment was deleted. grow up

  • I hope Kabaddi gets into the olympics. It will be great for the White People to see something other then Gandhi, Snake Charmers, and poverty out of India.

  • Kabaddi is far from being an olympic sport but if it were India would be winning some more medals. something they haven't been too successful at in past olympics

  • It would be really cool, though, in shooting a guy from Chandigarh won!

  • Hi, I have a question. Does the raider have to hold his breath during the raid?? On the Kabaddi wiki it says they do but in the rules on Kabaddi org it doesn't mention it.

  • In this style (Amar aka Circle) you don't hold your breath e.g chant kabaddi. The rules page is for circle style. There should be mention of holding your breath on the History page where the rules for Surjeevani and Gaminee styles are mentioned, but there isn't. Good catch!

  • Joyous commentary.

  • Sick video and excellent commentary. Wicked!!

  • I used watch Kabaddi on Channel 4 back in the early 90's. Loved it, didn't quite get the rules, but enjoyed it nonetheless.

I'm suprised, England haa a national Kabaddi side. Oh, I've got to get to a game.

    Thanks for upping this.

  • haha, so did I. Early mornings on Channel 4 = Kabaddi, Sumo and Trans World Sport. They were the days

  • yea i no ladoo. alright bro peace

  • bruaahh

  • how do you play kabaddi

  • this style is called circle kabaddi. it's pretty simple. the offensive player (raider) has 30 seconds to go over to the defenders side (stoppers) touch someone and get back. If he get's back his team earns a point. If the stoppers prevent him from getting back they get a point. They can pin him down, push him out of bounds, battle with him till time runs out, whatever it takes to stop him from getting back before the time expires and there team earns a point.

  • CooooL Video

  • It looks so much fun! I want to try it next time I go to the beach with my friends, and maybe then introduce it to Bristol. I'll have to either get some muscle and confidence together first or else find a group of stick insects like myself to play with!
