  • cool Cub....are you only using one aileon servo?

  • Cool vid, nice flyin!

  • @nitrosavy - thanks!

With a cub it's all about flying it gracefully I think

  • Nice flying man. Great plane

  • @fxdwings - Thanks, The plane has a Saito .72 and features Robart Cub landing gear. It has about 120 flights on it, it is a joy to fly.

  • Is that a Lancair in the foreground at the begining of the video?

  • @ThePongski - yes, its a Great Planes Lancair - unfortunately the aircraft is no longer produced. I've got about 80 flights on mine - it is a vary fast plane with a .61 two-stroke. Awesome aircraft and a blast to fly.

  • That Saito sounds so much better than the 2 stroke you had in it, well done Chris

  • @dennisjones100 - Thanks Dennis, I have to agree, a Cub deserves a four-stroke.

By the way, the flat twin in your Cub sounds amazing. I can't wait to see some video of the maiden flight. Good luck with it.

  • Nice flying, your cowl cutting is second to none...good job, i wish mine was as tidy, what's the engine

  • Thanks for the compliments. The engine is a Saito .72. This was the 105th flight of this aircraft. I've been flying it about three years now. The Cub is fun because it makes you fly gracefully. It's challenging to get the takeoffs just right. It is definately a "left thumb" flyer.

  • Thanks! Yes, this was shot at Space Citty RC about a week ago...
