Somehow if you check out the song's lyrics, you'll find out it talks about missing, and the underneath necesity of a very specific person. Though, when we miss something it is not specifically the past memories with someone that comes to our mind; sometimes, in my very own opinion, we kind of spect something from the future as well. That was the idea, the images of needing someone.

Das Experiment is a movie based The Stanford Prison Experiment which was a study of the psychological effects of becoming a prisoner or prison guard. The outcome was stunning and the participants took on their roles to the brutal extreme. "The experiment was frightening in their implications about the danger which lurks in the darker side of human nature."

I just found out they are remaking the 2001 German film this year starring Adrien Brody.
