Probably the best voice actor interview ever! I like how he just doesn't tell his perspective of him being the character but also how he reflects on the game as a gamer as well! The last min on what he says about how the game can change yourself just by experiencing the story is too true. By the time I saw the ending it definitely changed me for the better. I give a middle finger to anyone who says video games can't change your life.

Final Fantasy X is probably my favourite of all the FF games. Everything about it just draws you in and you can't help but feel as though you're part of the journey these characters are on, and the voice acting is a large part of that. Brilliant.

I'm not really sure where the name Tidus came from, but it is my firm opinion that "Tee-dus" sounds better than "Tie-dus". To me, "Tie-dus" has an awkward force to it, and "Tee-dus" just rolls off the tongue.

I think people are more angered by it because they had gotten used to saying Tiedus and even liked it. But you know, facts are facts, and you can't really change them. You just have to accept them.

Officially, his name is pronouced as "Tee-dus", proved here and in Dissidia. It's not really that big of a deal. I don't think it's degrading, stupid, or silly. It's just the way it was pronounced. I honestly think that tai-dus sounds better, but that's just how it is. :)

Yes. Everything was so great about FFX - the story, character development, presentation, the list goes on. But in my opinion, the delivery of the epic impact it possesses is only possible because of the near, if not perfect voice acting and narrating dialogue of Tidus.
