@Sonia4U2 You can do this, too! It is not as difficult as it looks.  I learned to crochet by making these doilies. I found basic crochet instruction books and videos at my public library. None of these doilies uses difficult stitches. I found great doily patterns from the library and more from vintage patterns sold on eBay and Amazon.

@kporter72 I recommend asking your public librarian about finding videos and books on beginning crochet instruction. Our library has terrific materials for this, which is how I learned. I actually taught myself to learn crochet instructions by making these doilies. You don't have to start out with potholders. Thank you for your kind remarks and for taking the time to comment. Get started on learning and you will be very well rewarded. You'll have your own doilies in no time!
